Security

Be confident that when you use PayWay from your mobile phone your personal information is secure.

You can also take action to protect your identity and your personal information. Check out the following tips and suggestions for keeping your mobile device secure.

  • If the function is available, please remember to lock your mobile device when it is not in use. This function password protects your device so that nobody else can use it or view your information. Also be sure to store your device in a safe location.
  • Frequently delete text messages from your financial institution, especially before sharing, discarding, or selling your mobile device
  • Never disclose via text message any personal information (account numbers, passwords, or any combination of sensitive information like your drivers licence number or birth date that could be used in ID theft)
  • Do not hack or modify your mobile device as this can leave your device open to infection from a virus or Trojan. We recommend you also install security software if available for your device.
